The Captain's Sampler Basket Get to know our local fishermen! A true treasure of a gift basket. This sturdy and beautiful basket has been handwoven out of reclaimed crab pot rope and than filled with four cans of Gourmet Quality Albacore from four of our local Woodley Island Marina Eureka boats. One bite and you will be hooked.
 
This tuna is sustainably hook and line caught by some of the very fishermen who donate their used crab line to us. Not available in stores, we get this delicious albacore directly from the fishermen themselves. This basket includes a can of Albacore from each of these fine Captains:

Made to Order, the basket colors will vary but each one will be bright and cheery, sturdy and functional. After the albacore is long gone, this basket will go onto hold your other treasures for years to come. (we welcome color requests but can't guarantee what ropes we will have in stock.)
 
This Sea Basket was hand woven out of rope which has been sourced directly from our local fishermen. The rope itself has beautifully distinctive characteristic marks from its time spent in the ocean. The rusty marks come from the crab fishing and rope storage process. We like to preserve as much of the history of the rope’s fishing usefulness as possible. Look carefully and you will find knots, rope splices, loops and more, woven directly into this basket.
